Yes I’m still blogging about summer weddings! It was a busy few months so I’m playing catch up. Back in August, Charlotte and Josh had their marquee wedding reception at the beautiful Chapelgarth Estate. With the ceremony taking place at a church close by they booked my on the day coordination service to ensure everything was running smoothly ahead of their arrival and throughout the day.
Charlotte and Josh had a marquee wedding in the glorious sunshine, we were really lucky this summer with the weather. I was slightly concerned that it would rain throughout August with it being my busiest month of the year, but thankfully we only had one slight downpour followed by beautiful sunshine.
There was lots of personal touches to the day which I always love to see including a photo of each guest as their place setting and a personalised table plan with tables named after bars they spent a lot of time in from their years at university.
I also loved how simple the decoration was with the most stunning flowers by Lucy MacNicoll being the showstopper. It’s easy to go mad with ideas when planning a DIY wedding but sometimes less is more, this wedding really showcased that!
The whole day was just perfect with such lovely guests who most definitely know how to party! Check out the gallery for lots more photos and be sure to take a look at the suppliers who were so amazing to work with. I was lucky enough to sample the catering and it was incredible!
