Yes I’m still blogging about summer weddings! It was a busy few months so I’m playing catch up. Back in August, Charlotte and Josh had their marquee wedding reception at the beautiful Chapelgarth Estate. With the ceremony taking place at a church close by they booked my on the day coordination service to ensure everything was running smoothly ahead of their arrival and throughout the day.
Charlotte and Josh had a marquee wedding in the glorious sunshine, we were really lucky this summer with the weather. I was slightly concerned that it would rain throughout August with it being my busiest month of the year, but thankfully we only had one slight downpour followed by beautiful sunshine.
There was lots of personal touches to the day which I always love to see including a photo of each guest as their place setting and a personalised table plan with tables named after bars they spent a lot of time in from their years at university.
I also loved how simple the decoration was with the most stunning flowers by Lucy MacNicoll being the showstopper. It’s easy to go mad with ideas when planning a DIY wedding but sometimes less is more, this wedding really showcased that!
The whole day was just perfect with such lovely guests who most definitely know how to party! Check out the gallery for lots more photos and be sure to take a look at the suppliers who were so amazing to work with. I was lucky enough to sample the catering and it was incredible!
Congratulations Charlotte and Josh, I hope you are enjoying married life! xxx

“Sian is amazing. I’m actually not sure what we would’ve done without her on our wedding day! On the day itself Sian made sure everything was in place and looking perfect before the guests arrived, she checked all the suppliers knew where they should be and for the whole day after we arrived she was quietly whirring away in the background making sure everything was running smoothly. I was getting ready away from the venue, and it was so reassuring to know that Sian was checking everything – I trusted her totally so didn’t need to worry.
Sian wasn’t just there on the wedding day; in the weeks running up to the wedding she contacted all the suppliers, helped us plan the timings for the day, found me a glitter bar when I decided I wanted one days before the wedding, and so much more. Sian was happy to meet up with us a few times before the wedding, which was so helpful and meant we felt like we knew her by the time the wedding came round. As well as being the best wedding day coordinator, Sian is such a lovely person and is a real pleasure to work with. She’s so patient, she answered my hundreds of questions and really took the stress out of the planning process. I couldn’t recommend Sian more – you’d actually be mad not to use her!”
